As we reflect on all the great values work this year 3rd class put together some dramas focusing on some of these values, read some stories from our values copies and sang some of our songs.
Check out the recording of the performance below. Well done girls, you did a fantastic job:-).

Our final slideshow with some pictures from different activities throughout the year. Thanks for all your work girls.
Happy holidays from everyone in Room 15:-). Yesterday we had a beautiful Summer Harvest. Each class had a chance to go out to the school garden and help pick some food. We had strawberries, onions, broad beans, potatoes, berries and garlic. Terry and Dave worked hard all year removing overgrown trees and heavy growth around the garden. We now have soooo much more light shining on our garden and this has made our vegetables grow even bigger. Terry has extended our garden and in replace of the old trees he has planted lots of fruit trees. Dave has also begun on our outdoor classroom and will be completed in full by the new school year. You are more than welcome to come in and have a look at our garden and outdoor classroom. Huge thanks to Terry and Dave for all their work. Happy Harvest! The girls in R.16 were delighted to hear that they were the winners chosen from an Irish Independent competition to receive a free workshop based on family history. The girls had submitted accounts of family members in their own personal history, and these submissions resulted in their win. They were delighted to attend the workshop in the Irish Family History centre where they discussed family trees, did a show and tell of personal photos, designed a personal family crest, and used computers to research past family members. Well done girls on being so enthusiastic and interested in your own past family stories. ![]() Holly Flatley (Room 14) and Sarah Fitzgerald (Room 13) from 5th class were selected to take part in the Dublin Belfast Friendship GAA Games in Belfast last Friday. They travelled up on the train with other children from all over Dublin and played their football match. Unfortunately the Dublin team didn't win but that's not what the day was about. They had a really great time and the girls represented the school very well. . As well as the match they were given a tour of the city. It was a great experience all round and we would like to thank all involved with Cumann na mBunscol for organising this event. Well done Holly and Sarah:-) A little look into life in 1st class in room 7 this last term. Well done on all the hard work girls - lots of learning and lots of fun! :o) ![]()
What a wonderfully competitive final between Meath and Roscommon today. Congratulations to Meath on their win and hard luck to a great Roscommon team. It was a tough, tight game and was anyone's to win right until the end. More importantly though was how sporting the game was and how gracious Roscommon were in defeat. Well done to everyone who took part all the way through the league. It was really great to see so many girls willing to give it a go even if they had never played before.
A huge thanks to our 6th class football and camogie girls who organised every game, acted as linesmen and umpires, refereed games and managed the teams. We absolutely couldn't have done it without them and we are very grateful. From Ms Devlin, Ms Ryan and Ms Miley. ![]()
Both 3rd classes went on their school tour to Pine Forest Art Centre in Glencullen last Friday. We had a really wonderful time and we were glad the sun came out for us. We went for a lovely hike in the beautiful forest and then did 3 different art activities. Thanks to all the great staff in Pine Forest for looking after us so well, to our teachers for bringing us and to Lisa and Bernice (parents) who kindly came along to help out. Check out the video to see the fun we had.
