When the two 5th classes visited the pumpkin display in the Botanic Gardens before the Halloween break, this particular character was a very popular choice amongst the pumpkin decorators.

This month in St. Brigid's we will be thinking about the value of 'Right Action'. The related values that we will be focusing on each week are helping, being a good example and consideration. Last month we put a school-wide focus on the value of 'Love'. The related weekly values were friendship, kindness, sharing and showing love. There were lots of interesting and creative activities going on around the school as the children and staff embraced the theme and considered the values. Here is a brief look at some of the love-related goings on around St. Brigid's last month..! :o) We had a very scary Halloween Breakfast this morning. Amazing costumes made from all. Have a look below for the Best Dressed Winners. Thanks to the Parents Association for the hamper prizes. One child from each class won a bucket full to the brim with surprises and a €10 voucher for Odeon. Have a safe and Happy Halloween everyone!!
Room 14 have been very busy making Hallowe'en characters from our used Cheerios' boxes. We have been working really hard on vampires, dolls, haunted houses and loads more.
