Anti Bullying Training for Parents
Anti Bullying sessions for parents have been arranged in a number of venues throughout the country. The sessions will enable you to support your child regarding issues of bullying and will also inform you about the Anti Bullying Procedures for Primary and Post Primary Schools. You can drop your bag/ bags into the school on: Thursday 1st October 1.15 p.m. - 1.45 p.m. & 2.15 p.m. - 2.45 p.m. & Friday 2nd October 8.30 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. Items accepted: adult & children’s clothes, shoes (tied together), hats, belts, bags & teddies. No bedding, duvets, pillows, curtains and towels Donations of unused mobile phones, tablets and cameras can also be handed in separately. “Positive Parenting in a Technological Age” on Wednesday 22nd April at 7.30 p.m. in St Brigid’s School Hall by Colman Noctor Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist & Part-time Associate Professor in Trinity College Dublin. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Parents Association is delighted to invite all parents to a talk by Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, Colman Noctor.
He will be giving a talk on “Positive Parenting in a Technological Age” on Wednesday 22nd April at 7.30 p.m. in St Brigid’s. Colman Noctor is a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist in St Patrick's Mental Health Services and part time associate professor in Trinity College Dublin. Colman has almost 20 years experience of working with young people both here and in the UK. He is also the author of the recently published parenting book Cop On and is a regular media contributor. His special interest area is technology and its impact on how we relate to each other and how it has impacted on Irish family life. Colman’s recently published book Cop On will be available to purchase for €17 on the night. Everyone is welcome to attend. |
